A four-year varsity letter award winner and captain of the Men's Soccer Team at Brown University, where he received his undergraduate degree, Dr. Thomas received his doctor of medicine from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine.

He served an internship with Hamot Medical Center in Erie, PA and residencies with Hamot Medical Center and Shriners' Hospital for Children, also in Erie.

His award-winning research and related articles have been written for notable publications such as Contemporary Orthopaedics, Journal of Orthopaedic Trauma, Journal of Hand Surgery, Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery, and the American Journal of Sports Medicine.

"I enjoy being able to build relationships with patients of all ages and their families," says Dr. Thomas. "It's a great feeling to be able to help people get back to fully functional lives again."

Dr. Thomas and his wife, Lesley, are originally from Moon Township where they currently reside with their children, Garrett and Emma. Dr. Thomas' father and brother are also in the medical field, with a reputable dental practice in Moon.

When he's not practicing medicine, Dr. Thomas says he's a self-proclaimed "fitness nut' and avid golfer.
