David Buckenheimer, a senior at Beaver, has been chosen to play in the WPIAL Class AAA all-star soccer game this afternoon at Moon Area.

Buckenheimer is one of only three players from Class AA - each of whom earned all-state recognition - to play in the AAA game, which is considered to be the featured game in today's Western Pennsylvania Soccer Coaches Association doubleheader.

The AAA game - which includes Moon Area's Ryan Seuss and Jack McCready - will begin at 2 p.m.

The Class AA/A all-stars will play at noon. The first game includes the following players from the Times area: Noah Erin of Beaver, Ryan Prosper and Andrew Forbes of Center, Alex Bob and Shawn Murphy of Quaker Valley, Matt Hoch, Taylor Takacs and Matt Kaye of Sewickley Academy, Chris Bolea of Ambridge, Carter Fox of Riverside and Zachary Buffalini of South Side.
